December 1st means new Christmas Jammies and a hot chocolate party as we start our advent devotions in preparation for Christmas. This year December 1st also happened to be the night of Hazel and Evie's Christmas program so it was a very busy evening.

Took the twins to get an oil change since things have crazy and Brandon hasn't had time. They really are monkeys I swear to you!

Gingerbread houses at Grammy's is an annual tradition and when I ask my kids their favorite Christmas tradition this is always way at the top of the list. Grammy does an incredible job of making this fun for so many kids and so many ages. She preps all the houses and all the candy and frosting. When we get there each of her 19 grandkids have a place set for them with a house, frosting in a bag for piping, and a tray for their choice of candy. It's fun to see what they all create. This year we were surprised by how long Maddie sat and worked on her house, how much frosting Tommy ate, and how much candy Evie ate (well maybe we weren't surprised by that).
Grammy puts a lot of work into this and we are so thankful for the fun memories.
I was able to attend Evie's Christmas party this year.
While I attended Evie's party the twins and Grammy and Caleb helped Great Grandpa move into his new room.
