Troyer Addition Week 14

Week 14: 1st floor framing

SATURDAY

Brandon gave us a all a little run down on framing to start the morning.  We learned what studs trimmers and headers are, how to crown studs, and how to use the skill saw.  Then I cut, the kids carried and assembled walls, Brandon nailed them together, and we worked together to stand them.  We're not exactly high quality help but we're free, it's fun working together and Brandon was happy with what we got done.



Aubrey and Maddie are always so happy to have their big sister's home.  I hope it lasts!!!








SUNDAY
We worked for a little while Sunday afternoon finishing up the exterior walls.


MONDAY
Monday we worked on finishing up some of the framing around the doors and windows.  The kids stayed up way to late but it was our only free evening this week.
