Troyer Addition Week 12

May 20, 2023

Week 12: Underfloor framing, rough plumbing and HVAC, and garage slab poured.

SATURDAY

Today we began framing the floor.  It was pretty exciting and the twins were BIG helpers as usual.

MONDAY and TUESDAY
On Monday the plumber came out and did the rough plumbing for the downstairs bath and laundry and on Tuesday the HVAC guys came and did what they needed to do.

Tuesday night about 7:15 Tony rolled in to jack hammer out the footings that he poured to high.  Ugg!  Then about 9:30 he fired up his excavator and around 11:00 he and Brandon finally had the forms set and ready for concrete.  




WEDNESDAY
Wednesday was an exciting day as they came to pour our garage slab.  Unfortunately they didn't have everything quite right so they ended up having to add gravel and compact it down again while the trucks waited to pour.  What a fiasco these concrete guys have been.
