The kids are always wanting to play sports and we just haven't found a way to make that happen with so many littles. However, an opportunity came up the first week of school for the oldest 3 to participate in a soccer camp at school and we decided to give it a try.
As we they didn't have any soccer gear it was a bit of a scramble to gather together what they needed, but we made the best of it asking Grammy to watch the babies while we ran to the store for cleats and got dinner at Red Robin with our Bigs.
The kids really enjoyed soccer camp and worked hard practicing the new skills Coach Stuck taught them. I ended up taking them taking them a couple of times as did Daddy, we got rained on a twice, and we had some visitors. Grammy, Great Grandpa, Harper, Evie, and Robert came by and watched which the kids loved and Hazel tagged along a few times to play with her new B.F.F. from kindergarten, Everly. I'm telling you those two are two peas in a pod and there are definitely going to be stories about them in our future. They are absolutely hilarious and I was so glad to meet Everly and her family as I've really missed walking her into school and meeting other parents that way.
