Happy 11th Birthday Sadie!

Sadie has to be about the best big sister around.  I remember when she was little we'd kinda laugh, kinda roll our eyes, at they way she'd boss Wyatt around, but it was always hard to stop her entirely because he was so happy to follow along and do whatever she wanted.  In fact there was a time when they would fight over answering the question, "What do you want for lunch?" because Wyatt ALWAYS wanted whatever Sadie wanted and she didn't like that.  He just adored her and now her little sisters are the same way.  As she's grown up she can still be bossy at times but most of the time its not so much bossiness as the fact that they all look up to her so much.  She still makes up great games for everyone to play, especially the little girls, and she helps me keep track of whose turn it is to sit where in the car and whose turn it is to do the various chores.  Lord knows I can't keep it all straight anymore and so in steps my second set of hands and the better part of my brain.  She really does help me so much and often impresses us with the amount of patience she has for the twins.  They adore her and sometimes to her dismay they actually prefer her to me when they're fussy and who can blame them.  She's so much more fun!  She plays silly little games to distract them and they just can't get enough.  God most definitely knew what he was doing when he gave me Sadie first.  She loves her siblings and is such an enormous blessing to me and this entire family.

If squishies were a love language they'd be Sadie's.

Sadie has been wanting to start collecting some football cards like her brothers.

The big 3 are all really into Star Wars and Rey is Sadie's favorite character.

Since I can't bring treats into class due to COVID I started a new tradition of picking the kids up for lunch on their birthday.  Sadie and I went to Subway and then to Dutch Brothers before dropping her back of at school.

We continue to enjoy celebrating birthdays with the family which more and more is becoming quite a large and lively group.
