We had a lot of fun celebrating my brothers Saturday as they bottled their first bottles of milk at Blue Silo Creamery. This has been a dream for over a year and they have slowly been making progress renovation an old barn at Ryan's place, buying and installing equipment, building and marketing their brand, and trying and testing recipe after recipe. It has been a long process and they still have a long way to go but pending a test on their first batch of product they are ready to begin selling and we are sooo excited for them. Robert has already made some great connections and in the next week or so their product will be at Willamette Valley Pie, Locals Donuts, Hazella Bake Shop, and The Lovin Oven.
We couldn't help but remember my Dad as we gathered to pray over this new business and as we took family photos. He would be so proud of all the hard work and the way this family continues to show up for one another and we are so thankful for him and his lasting legacy. Jesus first ALWAYS. Then family, hard work, generosity, and lots and lots of laughter. I see it all still right here in this group and in this massive group of kids we are raising. We have been so blessed and are so excited for the future of Blue Silo Creamery and Desert Park Dairy.
