Last Days of Summer
I hope these boys are always the best of friends...
This year we have 4 headed off for full days at school!!!
Hazel is 6 and in Mrs. Christensen's 1st Grade Class.
Cooper is 8 and in Ms. Sorensen's 3rd Grade Class.
Wyatt is 10 and in Mrs. Bitner and Mrs. Lederer's 5th Grade Class.
Sadie is 11 (almost 12) and in Mrs. House's 6th Grade Class.
She will also be switching classes for the first time this year for Science and History.
We find ourselves at that stage of life when children need to be bribed to take nice pictures with the promise of silly ones.
It's a lot quieter at home with half of the crew at school and while in a lot of ways that is a welcome change, it also always makes me a little sad. The relationships grow but they also change as kids head off to school. Evie especially misses Hazel, her partner in crime, best friend, and one of the most imaginative pretenders around. She's honestly a little lost without people bossing her around, but I think she's also enjoying being the ring leader and getting a little one on one time for a change.
