Troyer Addition: Week 57-58

March 30, 2024

Week 57-58

So much trim to build and sand and paint.  Some days we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel but we will get there.

We also sold some goats today.  Kinda sad but they really do need a little more space and they're about to kid again so when we were contacted by a friend of a friend and he was willing to take some older goats we decided it was probably for the best.  Today we said goodbye to Baby, PeeWee, Cutie, and Vanilla.

Sunday was Easter.  It was an in-law year which meant a smaller gathering but still so much fun and such a great day remembering our great hope.

Love these moments when our big kids still feel just a little bit little.

Daddy and Baby Jo

Grammy makes the most amazing cookies.

Wouldn't be an Easter on the farm without some cow herding.
In all seriousness we felt bad having to call Uncle Ryan who wasn't feeling well to tell him the cows were out but we made a memory herding them all back in together.

CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!

April 6, 2024

We spent the weekend painting like crazy to get ready for the carpet which was installed on Monday.  Yay!!!

Tuesday I went on a field trip to the Willamette Heritage Center with Hazel and her class.
Hazel and Everly

Ainsley, Lily, Hazel, Everly, Mila

Wednesday was Wyatt's first scrimmage against Salem Academy.  We lost but it was a close game.  Grammy had our 4 youngest girls so we took Mason.

Thursday Sadie and Wyatt got braces and Sadie ran in her first track meet where she took 1st in the hurdles.

Add to this all the practices and batting lessons and date night and the regular old stuff of work and making dinner and what not, and you can see why it's been slow going on the house lately and why we're generally tired.
