The adrenaline has officially worn off. It's not as fun to take or post the pictures cuz it feels like we've been stuck on this finishing up odds and ends FOREVER but we're doing our best to stay motivated and to gear up for what comes next which is more craziness I fear.
Week 33-35: Last bits of framing and concrete.
No concrete this weekend as the chances of rain continue to rise. Now they're saying they'll come mid week and pour at 3:30 in the afternoon which means they're finishing in the dark. Brandon is not a fan of this plan so he is asking around to see if we can find someone else to pour the concrete.
This weekend we worked on checking off more miscellaneous items.
I'm pretty sure humor is how we stay sane right now.

This weekend we finally got our concrete poured. It didn't turn out quite as we hoped and we didn't order enough which was really a bummer but what can you do.
Cooper and Sam went to cheer on Tim at his game this weekend.
These boys have been best buds since kindergarten.

Brandon poured the last square of concrete himself. Man what a fiasco but I guess it keeps us humble when things don't go quite as planned no matter how hard we try. We're a little bummed about how this went but its just concrete right? Cars will park on it, kids will ride bikes on it, and it is what it is.
