Septmeber Photos

So this happened...  We now have a flute, a clarinet, and a very excited trumpet player. :)

This September has been so warm.  We're loving it and also ready for it to start feeling more like Fall.

On Saturdays we use to try to sneak out to run an errand or two while the twins napped and the bigger kids had their T.V. time.  That is no longer an option as these two are monkeys and only nap in the car. So now they join us which isn't quite a break but it's still better than running errands solo with them and they're actually fun most of the time when it's just the two of them.  Plus I love that we get to have some of these memories with them while they're little just like we did with the older kids at this age.

Anxiously awaiting their breakfast.

Doing what I can to make it feel like Fall even though it's still blazing hot outside.

Sadie went on Retreat with school for the first time this year.  She got to know Cori and I loved getting a picture and text as they were not allowed to have their phones with them.

Katie is the best.  Look at all this delicious produce from her garden.  It smelled so wonderful and just looked to beautiful to not take a picture!

Daddy and his shenanigans. :)

Uncle Robert's puppies are getting big!

He also has 4 pregnant sows he rescued.

We spent the last 2 Saturdays in September cutting firewood over at the Zuidemas.  I promise these kids actually did work although this was what they would have preferred to have been doing.

Back home there's lots of work still to be done splitting and stacking.
Gotta love Evie's work attire. :)
