And just like that our trip is over... Wish I could slow time down but since I can't I'll just hold on to these memories we've made together and let all the stressful moments drift away. I think it'll take me quite a while to get over being home. I really wish we could have stayed longer. At home it often feels like we're racing from place to place, kids here and there, more homework and house work and home projects to do that we can ever get done. I'm grateful for our life don't get me wrong. It's amazing and full to the brim but it makes these moments away from all our daily stressors especially treasured. Nothing beats time away in my books. Laughing and spending time together is truly my favorite.

Disneyland 2025 - Day 4
Day 4: Day 4 started out kinda rough. Middle of the day Tuesday, day 2, Wyatt started not feeling well. He said he had a headache, but also said that he hadn't drunken any water all day. He filled his water bottle up in the park Monday late afternoon and never said anything about not liking it so when I refilled water bottles Tuesday morning I topped his off but didn't dump it out and refill it with bottled water. So apparently he decided not to drink it because he thought that was what was giving him a headache. We didn't find this out until the very end of the day at which point we made him drink something and take some ibuprofen assuming he was dehydrated. We got home and he ate a foot long sub and went to bed. Unfortunately when I woke him up in the morning he looked like he still felt lousy so I gave him a little more ibuprofen and told him to lay back down and see how he felt in an hour when it was time to go. Long and short he still didn't feel well so we ended up leaving him to rest which felt terrible!!! We told him to call us when he woke up so that we could come back and grab him.
He called about 10:00 and said he felt better, but as we walked around it was clear he was just barely hanging in there. We all felt really bad for him. What a bummer to be sick at Disneyland. :( Anyway he stuck in there as long as he could and we were able to get him onto all the rides in California Adventure that he really wanted to ride and then Brandon walked back to the condo for the 3rd time so that he could go back to sleep.
Day 3: California Adventure
Such a truly beautiful Southern California day!
The Amazing Spider-Man!
This one was super fun. The twins were hilarious shooting their webs.
Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!
Soarin' Over California
I love this ride. Such a fun one!!!
You're probably not a teenage daughter if you haven't given this look to your Dad once or many times on a trip like this. This was Brandon doing his "It's Go Time move!"
The Amazing Spider-Man!
Round 2 with Wyatt
Pretty serious about slinging her webs.
