Swier Family Reunion

The Swier Family Reunion began the evening of Sadie's graduation.  So the next morning we headed over to Aldersgate Family Camp in Turner to meet up with everyone.  So thankful they were all able to make the trip out our way.

THURSDAY:
Bo and Vine food truck at Turner Pizza

Duck Duck Goose

Then off to Monroe with the twins and the oldest 3 for 2 baseball games.
Cooper won his game.

Wyatt lost in a tough game which may or may not have come down to whether or not Carter touched home plate.  We have our opinions and a video.  Needless to say it was a pretty intense game and a very tough loss.

FRIDAY:

Human Foosball

Playing in the creek

Lunch

Bracelet making and beads with Aunt Amanda

SATURDAY:
Family baseball game

Playing in the gym with so many new friends
Maddie, Aubrey, Winnie, Nathan, Aurora, and Liana

Swinging

Rock Climbing
Everyone tried it, except me, but our girls rocked it.  Wyatt and Cooper each made it about half way up, Evie was the very first climber to reach the top and did it on both the easy and more difficult wall, Sadie reached the top on both walls, Hazel reached the top on her 2nd try, and Brandon reached the top.

32 GREAT GRANDKIDS!!!

64 Family Members

It's pretty incredible to see this whole group together.  We sure do miss Grandma and Dad but what a blessed family this is.  I'm realize more and more how unique it is to be a part of such a large family that for the most part gets along really well.  We have our brokenness and dysfunction like every family but the in-laws often comment on how unique it is that we can all hang out together like this and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy one another.  Of 14 cousins 13 came with spouses and kids.  Only one cousin and one spouse couldn't make it.  That's pretty incredible and I honestly enjoyed reconnecting with cousins and getting to know their spouses and kids.  In the past I've been so consumed with my own kiddos that I never felt like I really had a chance to spend much time with everyone but this time felt a little different, a little easier, and I'm grateful.
