Wyatt's birthday was on a Saturday this year so he got 2 days of celebrating. On Friday I picked him up for his birthday lunch and dropped off donuts at school for his class party. He picked Taco Bell for his lunch and ordered 2 burritos, a taco, a nacho, and a drink. He didn't get quite all that food down but I'm telling you, this boy can eat!!! I can't even imagine what it's going to be like when he's a teenager.
On Saturday morning we opened presents.
Then we ran up to get his free birthday drink at Dutch Brothers.
Football seems to be the theme this year. The kids are all really into it. They enjoy watching the games, trading cards, and now wearing their jerseys. Wyatt really likes the Cardinals and Larry Fitzgerald but I told him that was way too long of a name for me to put on a cake so he kindly settled for his second choice.
Happy 10th Birthday Wyatt! It's hard to believe our sweet little blonde boy is already 10. I remember when he was little and we'd encourage him to give almost everyone a kiss because it was just so dang cute and he was just too sweet. As he got closer and closer to kindergarten we realized that although we still loved it we needed to teach him when that was appropriate and when it wasn't but he still gave the very best hugs and does to this day. He truly has the biggest heart! Along with his big heart comes a lot of passion and while this does get him into trouble every once in a while it's also one of his very best traits. He's never afraid to fight for what's right, he's a loyal friend, he has lots of ideas to offer, and as already mentioned he gives the very best hugs.
